About the Project

T-Mobile and AT&T currently provide wireless coverage to your area using equipment installed on the W. Main Street water tank. With the scheduled removal of that water tank, steps must be taken to ensure there is no disruption to the essential services residents and businesses rely on every day.

To maintain and improve wireless coverage in the area, Milestone Tower is proposing a replacement wireless facility at Collyar Park, located at 150 Collyar Park Circle.

The proposed facility will include:

  • A 230-foot self-supporting tower
  • Carrier equipment for T-Mobile and AT&T
  • A secure, fenced equipment enclosure at the base of the tower

This new tower is designed to continue delivering strong, reliable mobile service—including faster internet speeds, better voice quality, and improved indoor coverage—now and into the future.

Update #1: Upcoming community events:

Online Town Hall: On Tuesday, May 6th @ 6:00 pm we will hold an online Town Hall webinar consisting of a short presentation followed by a question and answer time. Registration is required and can be completed on the Town Hall page.

Our Process

1. Due Diligence 

Survey, FAA, FCC, NEPA, Phase 1, Geotechnical Analysis.

2. Land Use

The Land Use process is currently in the process of being revised. Once completed we will update this section accordingly.

3. Permitting

Conduct Bid Walk With Contractors and school/park representatives, submit Site Plan and Building permit applications.

4. Construction 

Tower construction = 4-6 weeks  | Carrier construction = 4-6 weeks on average

On-site supervision by Construction Manager | Schedule with schools/parks to minimize disturbance to student/park activities.

 

5. Site Maintenance

Four visits per year for site maintenance | Remove trash, debris, check signage. 

Annual RF testing | 2-4 visits per year for carrier modifications.
